English 10: Today students worked on their poem annotations and graphic organizer. Then, students crafted their own 25 line poem in which they captured a moment in their life where they felt stereotyped.

Home work: Annotated poem, graphic organizer and your own crafted poem are all due tomorrow.

English 9: Today I went over the final project for quarter two. Students were then given time to work on this. Here is an example of the document I gave students:

For your quarter two final project, students will need to:

2.       Defend it with at least 4 pieces of evidence from the articles we have read.
3.       Decide a format that best gets their claim and evidence across

Outline. Due Friday December 9.
Your claim about the effects of social media:

4.       Describe the type of evidence and explain how it defends your claim.

4.       Describe the type of evidence and explain how it defends your claim.

Format. Describe the format you are going to use and defend why it is the best format for your project. It could be a news-paper article, YouTube video, screen play, formal essay, comic strip, satirical essay etc. You just need to prove to me that this is a good format to get you point across.

Here is the list of other articles you may use. You need to include the source or sources you use at the end of your project. The best ways to find these articles are to google the title. Some of the links don’t always work. Articles you may use:
