English 9- Today we started reading part two in The Odyssey. I handed out the study guide for part tow so students could be proactive in finishing this before the end so it is not so daunting. Students then independently worked on the questions for the section "The Beggar and the Dog."  Here are the questions from that section:

Students got to choose any character from the book and create a dating profile for that character, supporting their ideas with evidence from the text. Here is what it looks like:
