English 10: Today we read half of chapter 3 in Of Mice and Men.  Students should review chapters 1 through 3 for a short quiz tomorrow.


English 9: Today students took vocab quiz #1. If you were absent, you need to make this up by Tuesday January 24. Students then read chapter three and answered these questions:

1.Why was Scout beating up Walter Cunningham in the schoolyard?

2.What does Jem do about the situation?

3.Why does Walter take so much time making up his mind?

4.Why did Ms. Caroline tell Burris Ewell to go home? What effect does this have on him?

5.What does Atticus tell Scout about the Ewells? Pg. 30

6.How is the relationship between Calpurnia and Scout changing?
