Honors English 10: Today we discussed the ending to Of Mice and Men. We then took notes to help with the novel review. 

REMINDER: If you were absent on your day for the Socratic seminar and it was excused, the make up day for that Socratic seminar will be Monday November 13th! I had to move it from Thursday!

Honors English 10: Today we finished chapter 5 and 6 in Of Mice and Men.

HOMEWORK: Finish your reaction writing. Here is the prompt:

In your notebook, react to the story Of Mice and Men. What did you think of the ending? What did you like about the text? What did you not like about the text? Who would you recommend this book to?  Who would you not recommend this book to?

Why do you think this text has been a part of American popular culture for over 80 years? Why do we still read it and discuss it?
